FAQ
Production
How long does manufacturing take?
The production of a dining table takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. A coffee or side table takes approximately 3 to 5 weeks. Smaller tables, clocks, lamps, etc. take 2 to 4 weeks.
How are the prices structured?
Quality is important to ensure longevity!
There are woods of different qualities and sizes and therefore also in different price ranges.
The amount of epoxy resin can be calculated based on the shape of the wood and the desired size of the table.
The choice of epoxy resin color does not matter.
The base frame is selected to match the table (stability) (handmade or standard) and can also be designed or chosen by you.
The finished table tops are either treated with a 2-component oil or varnished in satin/high gloss. The proportion of wood, resin, the size of the table, the desired surface finish, and the matching frame determine the price.
Which epoxy resin is used?
There are many resin systems on the market, which vary greatly in quality and price.
You should really pay close attention to what kind of epoxy resin is used to avoid nasty surprises!
I work with a German epoxy resin system because it is important to pay attention to UV resistance, and these resins are VOC- and BPA-free. Scratch resistance is also important.
The epoxy resin is not hazardous to health according to GHS08 REACH Compliance and not toxic according to GHS06.
Can I visit the workshop?
We would be happy to find an appointment for that.
We are always in the process of manufacturing and can show you the different steps on site.
Is there a guarantee and warranty?
Statutory warranty claims apply. The warranty period is two years after delivery of the purchased products.
Payment process?
Upon conclusion of the contract, 60% of the order sum is due as a down payment. For products that do not require assembly or are shipped, the remaining balance must be paid before delivery or dispatch. For furniture that is delivered and assembled, the remaining balance of the order sum must be paid in advance by bank transfer.
For watches, lamps, knife blocks, or decorative items, payment is made in advance.
Quality Guarantee
Ask yourself: Is the resin used UV-stabilized? How was the wood cut and dried? Does the frame match the slab? What happens if something breaks?
Be aware that there are many "hobby artists". Pictures and videos on the internet often show the moment of completion. But what will the slab look like in 2 or 5 years?
How do I measure my table size?
As a rule, allow 60 cm width per person.
So, a table for, for example, 8 people (3 on each long side and one on each short side) would be 180 cm long.
Which type of wood is right for me?
There are many native wood types. The most common are walnut, oak, ash, acacia, and elm.
However, we also offer exotic woods like "Suar wood."
What matters is whether I want an elegant, calm table or a wild and lively one, considering the grain, structure, knots, cracks, and color of the wood. On my website, you'll find an excerpt of tables already made. Let yourself be inspired.
Can I help choose the wood?
We would be happy to help you select the wood for your dream table, either on-site or at one of our dealers.
We are also happy to search for the perfect wood that meets your specific ideas.
Which surface coating should I choose?
Oiling is the most natural type of surface treatment. We like to use a 2-component oil that seals the surface and prevents stains. The advantage: re-oiling and repairing minor scratches yourself.
Suitable for tabletops with little epoxy resin or solid wood panels.
Lacquered wooden tables are less sensitive to moisture and dirt and require little maintenance. No regular re-treatments are necessary. We use durable varnishes.
Surfaces can also be sealed with high-gloss epoxy resin. These are durable and can be polished with a polishing machine
How sturdy are these tables?
We only use high-quality, slow-dried woods to guarantee long-lasting quality.
Solid wood is a natural product and has natural tensions within the wood. It is normal for wood to move. Each tabletop is stabilized with the table frame and/or
with milled "U" profiles to counteract these forces in the wood.
Which is the correct frame?
The frame, the table legs play a crucial role!
A solid table top requires a stable frame that should be adapted to the top.
Legroom, chair type, table size, and assembly are important considerations.
Thanks to our professional carpenters, locksmiths, and painters, we can offer any type of base.
It is very important to plan the underframe for every table as a complete project from the beginning.
For example, does it bother me if I see the frame directly under a table with transparent resin?
How can I properly care for my table?
Simply wipe with a damp cloth; do not use abrasive sponges. A solid epoxy resin tabletop is a durable product.
Even a tabletop that is really old can be sanded and completely refinished.
In-store purchase
Are the items easy to assemble?
Yes, we prepare everything in a way that allows for easy assembly.
Klarna Financing
How does payment for custom-made items work?
After we have jointly designed and calculated your table, you will receive a binding offer including the price and delivery time. If you opt for installment payments, I will send you a Klarna payment link. There, you can conveniently choose your preferred installment model – interest-free or flexible. The entire process is handled via Klarna, and as soon as payment is confirmed, I will start manufacturing your piece of furniture.
Can I also make a down payment?
Yes – for custom one-off pieces, a combination of down payment and installment payment is also possible. If you choose this option, the down payment will be made directly to me. The remaining amount can then be conveniently paid in installments via Klarna. You will receive a Klarna payment link through which you can select your preferred installment plan. This way, everything remains flexible and transparent.
What happens if Klarna declines me?
The decision on installment payment is made by Klarna based on an automated credit check. Should Klarna reject your request, you can, of course, still pay by classic bank transfer. For custom-made items, there is also the option of making a down payment and settling the remaining amount later - individually and personally tailored.
Do I get my furniture immediately?
For shop products: Yes - as soon as your Klarna payment is confirmed, your furniture will be shipped.
For custom-made items: Production begins after payment is received via Klarna. The delivery time depends on the individually agreed production period, which you can find in the offer.
